At first glance this looks like a simple design but it actually uses a lot of different layers.

I’ve used photographs of various textures to build up the finished image, including a fluffy carpet for the fur, tree bark for the antlers, tinfoil for the pink inner ear and (if you use a magnifying glass) polka dots for the nose.

I should probably have given it a more commercially Christmassy background (with snowflakes or something), but I think the muted grey-green tone suits it pretty well.
