This started out as a bit of an experiment in Corel Painter, a great piece of software that allows you to ‘paint’ digitally using realistic brushes and media. The aim of the experiment was to see if I could create all the various lengths and textures of fur found on your average tiger using just three of my favourite Corel Painter brushes – the Soft Grainy Oil brush, the digital airbrush and the Blender Palette Knife.
